The Wretchnid is a mini-boss in the second area of Dragon Valley and in the fifth area of Battle Glacier.
The Wretchnid is a spider-like robot that crawls up and down on a pole. It's gun tracks the Player's movement, shooting 5 shots that can be blocked by Milla's Shield. This Mini-Boss must be defeated in order to open the gate that it's protecting. Once destroyed, the gate it was protecting will transform into Crystal Shards, allowing the Player to proceed.
