The citizens of Avalice are characters who appear within the Hub Areas in Freedom Planet 2. The player can interact with these characters and do things like purchase items and music vinyls as they progress through the story. There are over 100 characters to interact with, including the main cast and playable characters. After talking to a character for the first time, their name, species and home region will be registered on a list in the world map's pause menu. Some citizens can even be found in more than 1 HUB Area.
