Keymaster Squid is one of the mini-bosses of Thermal Base, alongside Roboshrimp & Shade Trooper, & the mini-boss of Final Dreadnought (Round 2). These enemies will carry keycards required for locked doors.
This enemy attacks by firing shots down in two diagonal directions. After taking enough damage, the glass on it will break, dropping the keycard. The Squid will start to fire more aggressively, and from here the player can either leave or finish it off to get some extra Crystal Shards.
