Dragon Valley: Crash Site
A Shellduck named Torque is seen being threatened by Serpentine, a Snake with robotic arms.

Torque retreats into his shell, and Serpentine becomes infuriated.

Serpentine's attention is caught by debris falling next to him. Realizing the Hunter Snake had been destroyed, he turns his attention back to Torque.

Serpentine brandishes his pistol and shoots Torque's shell a few times, causing him to bounce backwards then right back to him. He then takes out a second pistol and fires a barrage of shots at Torque, sending him into the air and through the trees.

Dragon Valley: Lilac's Treehouse
Lilac, Carol & Torque arrive near the Treehouse.

An embarrassed Lilac runs off-screen, with Torque looking confused and Carol having an amused expression on her face. She comes back to the two shortly after.

|
Lilac & Carol heads for the Ancient Temple while Torque searches the Valley for his missing stuff.
Ancient Temple
As the sun begins to set over the Valley Region, Lilac & Carol arrives at the Ancient Temple, where they find Gong, the General of Shang Tu's Army, standing guard at the entrance.

Gong notices Lilac & Carol and walks over to them, unamused by there presence.
 |
|
|
|
|
|

|
|
|
Just then, the Frost Knight, Lady Neera Li, appears on the scene, dropping in next to Gong.
 |
|
Lilac notices Neera and respectfully bows to her.
 |
|
|
|
|
|
|
 |
|
Lilac & Carol steps away from Gong & Neera to talk in private.
|
| ||
|
 |
|
Lilac & Carol then notice the ground beginning to shake. Suddenly, a Shang Mu truck appears out of nowhere, and the Girls quickly duck out of way as it barges through the Temple, catching Gong & Neera by surprise.
 |
|
As Neera jumps after the truck, Lilac & Carol spring into action.
|
|
Lilac & Carol enters the Ancient Temple, determined to save the Kingdom Stone before it's too late.
Ancient Temple: Outskirts
Meanwhile, in the outskirts near the Temple, Milla burrows out of the ground with a crate, and carries it to her friend: a tree stump called Mr. Stumpy.

|
Milla throws the crate on the ground, causing it to break and scatter Crystal Shards around.
 |

|

|
|
|
Suddenly, the ground begins to shake, and Milla becomes a little nervous.
|
|
Milla walks around a bit, until she sees a Shang Mu Truck coming. Frightened, she runs away (picks up the scattered Crystal Shards) and hops into a nearby tree to hide as the Truck drives by. Lilac is then seen Dragon Boosting after the Truck. Milla pokes her head out of the top of the tree and notices Lilac.

|
Milla Puppy Floats out of the tree, intent on following Lilac and meeting her in person, unaware of the large-scale conflict she was about to walk into.
Ancient Temple: Kingdom Stone Shrine
Lilac & Carol manages to reach the Kingdom Stone Shrine, where they find Spade, their former friend and rival, tying a rope to the Kingdom Stone.

|
Lilac & Carol runs over to confront Spade.
|

|
|
|
|
 |
|
Spade jumps into the air and throws his Playing Cards at Lilac & Carol. Lilac blocks the attack with her Dragon Cyclone, while Carol does the same with her Wild Kick.
 |
|
|
|
 |
|
 |
|
|
|
Lilac & Carol runs at Spade, who jumps on the Kingdom Stone, which releases a shockwave that briefly stuns the Girls. The rope pulls Spade and the Kingdom Stone up and out of the cave, and the pedestal begins to glow.
|
|
|
|
As Lilac & Carol attempts to escape, they are confronted by the Shrine's Guardian: the Mantalith, and the two are forced to fight their way out. After a fierce battle, Lilac & Carol defeats the Mantalith, but their celebration is cut short as the cave begins to collapse.
