Badges are special achievements for Freedom Planet 2 and the successor to the achievements found in Freedom Planet. They are separated into two categories; gold-colored badges represent completionist goals such as completing the story with a character while silver-colored badges are obtained through more specific tasks. The name change was made as a response to Sony's dislike towards self-contained achievements. [2]
