Not long after the Mantalith's defeat, the cave begins to collapse. Lilac & Carol get separated from each other as they make their escape.
Carol! Where are you?!
Lilac notices Carol trapped behind a large slab of rock. The Wildcat tries attacking the rock in an attempt to break trough with a Claw Combo, but to no avail.

As Carol goes to search for a way out of the cave, Lilac Dragon Boosts to find her own way out. Milla, who been following the two, continues to follow Lilac until she notices Carol trying to escape by using her Claw Combo through another boulder to no avail, until a rock falls on her head and knocks her out.
*Screams*
In the dark, Milla is seen spawning a Phantom Cube and heading towards Carol.
Ancient Temple: Surface[]
Milla digs a hole out of the cave and safely pulls the unconscious Carol out. As Carol starts to comes to, Milla flees into a bush, and Carol finds herself safely out of the cave, dazed and confused.
Wha. . . How did I. . . ?
Carol hears Lilac's voice in the distance calling out for her. As she gets up runs to her, Milla emerges from the bush and watches the two from afar. Lilac is seen running around and panicking as she searches for Carol.
CAROL!! CAROOOL!!
I'm over here!
Lilac hears Carol's voice and runs toward her, and the two are happily reunited and are relieved to be okay.

Well, we better find Torque and get home so I can patch it up.
Lilac & Carol start to head home before stopping to talk some more about today's events.

Lilac walks forward and looks at the sunset.
*sighs* I have a bad feeling about all this. . .
Something catches Carol's attention and she takes a few steps in another direction.

Carol goes to take a closer look at a nearby bush. She pounces on someone hiding in the bush: it was a little girl, who runs away, having been scared by the pounce.
. . . !
Lilac & Carol follows the girl and finds her frightened and hiding in another bush. Carol quickly comes to a realization about this girl. . .
Wait. . . someone with a shield pulled me out of the cave. It must'a been her.
Eheh. . . sorry about pouncing on ya.
The girl is too scared to say a word, thus ignoring Carol's apology.
Hello? I'm sorry?
Lilac steps closer and sits down by the bush to try and ease the girl's fears.
Don't be scared. I promise we'll keep you safe.
The girl is revealed to be Milla, who emerges from the bush to greet Lilac.
Lilac turns around and sits down with her back facing towards Milla, so she could let her touch her Hair Trendils, but the timid Puppy cautiously steps back.
I won't hurt you.
Milla steps closer, picks up one of Lilac's Hair Tendrils and begins to stroke it. Carol looks away, grossed out by what she's seeing.
*giggles* It's like a rope!

Milla runs back and forth while answering Carol's question.

The screen fades to black as Lilac takes the excited Milla to her Treehouse, though Carol doesn't seem to be fully onboard or comfortable with the idea.
The Leader of Shang Tu, the Royal Magister, is seen standing in the Audience Chamber, watching as the sun sets over the city. A door is heard opening as General Gong's voice echoes through the halls.
Gong enters the Audience Chamber and presents himself before the Magister.
Your excellency!

Mayor Zao. His pilgrimage to the temple was a coverup!
The Magister turns back to the sunset to ponder in thought about these events.
This is troubling. Zao may be a buffoon, but I never believed he was capable of this.
A pair of youngsters warned us about the attack. I. . . refused to listen.

Don't be hard on yourself, General. I would've been just as skeptical.

The screen turns to black as Gong begins to explain the events at the Temple. The scene then changes to him & Lady Neera walking down the hall near two guards, a Bird Guard and a Sleeping Guard. Neera is suspicious about Lilac & Carol. . .
Something doesn't smell right. . .

Back at the Treehouse, Lilac is seen talking to Torque, who is standing outside a tent he pitched up.
You sure you don't wanna hang out with us?

The Scene changes to show the interior of the Treehouse, where Lilac, Carol & Milla are just slouching around in the living room and doing nothing.

The girls watch a movie, with Lilac laying on the sofa, Carol eating a bag of chips and Milla sitting right in front of the TV.

Ehh, he's probably scared of getting cooties.

The girls laughed for a bit in response to Carol's cooties joke, then continued watching the movie.

Multiple sounds and screams can be heard until the Movie fades out. The Scene then changes to the Treehouse's Bedroom, where Lilac & Milla have gone to bed without Carol. As Lilac slept, she dreamt about what Spade had said to her back in the shrine. . .
*In Lilac's Dream* Not like a couple of traitors like yourselves would care. . .
Suddenly, Carol comes running into the room, panicking about something. She starts jumping to try and wake Lilac, who is in a dead sleep.
Lilac! Lilac!
. . . . . .
Torque's a, I mean I went down there and he said I mean his -
*moans* Calm down. what is it?
Torque turned into an alien or something!
*yawns* What?
Carol climbs onto the dresser.
Just come with me! Come on!
Nrrrhh. . . you probably had a bad dream.
Lilac ignores Carol and tries to go back to sleep, but the Wildcat starts pushing on the bunk bed.

Unable to ignore Carol, Lilac is now fully awake and annoyed. The two exit the Treehouse while Milla continues to sleep, and they go enter Torque's Tent.
Torque's Tent[]
Inside the Tent, Lilac & Carol see Torque hanging onto a device with Keystones attached to it. He looks different.
Torque?!
Torque is shocked to see Lilac & Carol, causing him to lose his grip on the device and fall on a crate, which breaks and releases some Crystal Shards.
*panicked* It's not what it looks like!
Carol steps forward, walking into a few Crystal Shards in the process.
What are you?! Give us answers buddy!
Torque steps back, walking into the rest of the Crystal Shards on the ground.
Okay! Okay! I'll tell you! But you have to promise to keep it to yourselves!
Lilac quickly steps in between Carol & Torque, willing to hear him out.

*sighs* Alright. Take a seat.
Lilac & Carol sits down on some toolboxes as Torque begins his explanation.
They say that a long time ago, dragons came to Avalice and mixed with our ancestors.
And not just ones like Lilac.

The scene fades to a shaded image of Lord Brevon and floating blue lights.
Brevon is the most powerful enemy we've ever faced. Hundreds of worlds destroyed. Thousands of heroes killed or corrupted, enormous amounts of weapon energy stolen. . . and that's just the tip of the iceberg.
According to our scans, the Kingdom Stone has enough energy to double the size of his army. If he gets it. . . he'll be unstoppable.
The scene fades back to the interior of Torque's Tent.
I'll try and convince your leader of his existence, but if I can't get them to help me. . .
If Brevon gets his hand on the Kingdom Stone. . . then I'll have no choice.
I'll have to destroy it.
Destroy it?! You can't be serious!
I'll only destroy it if I have no other choice! I swore to my Captain on his dying breath that I would not let Brevon get that stone!
Back in the Treehouse, Milla is woken up by Lilac & Carol's reaction to Torque wanting to destroy the Kingdom Stone as a last resort to stopping Brevon. She exits the Treehouse and sits outside Torque's Tent, to listen in on the conversation.
I'm sorry about your Captain, but. . . you can't destroy it!
In fact, you won't have to think about it, because I'm gonna help you get it back! I don't care how dangerous it is! It's gonna take a lot more than robots and aliens to slow a dragon down!
If she's gonna go for it, then I am too! If we can beat a giant praying mantis thing together, then who knows what we can do?
Lilac, Carol & Torque suddenly hears the sound of a breaking crate, and they turn around to find the culprit: it was Milla, who was sitting where the crate was and having an embarrassed look on her face.

Milla runs happily to Lilac & Carol's side.

So the three of you are really gonna help me stop him?
The Team arrives at a ravine in a northern part of the Valley Region in search for the meeting point. There doesn't seem to be anyone around, so Torque, who is disguised as a Shellduck again, pulls out his radar.
According to the radar, we seem to be at the right location.
Um. . . I think it's a little off.
Something catches Milla's attention, and she looks up to a ledge above the Team.
This way!
Milla Puppy Floats up to the ledge, and the rest of the Team soon follows her. They catch up to Milla, who was happily wagging her tail, as she has found General Gong, along with the Bird Guard and two biplanes. Lilac & Torque are impressed by Milla's sense of smell.
She's got a good nose.
I'll say.
The Team walks up to Gong, who bows before them as he introduces himself.
Allow me to properly introduce myself. I am General Gong of Shang Tu.
Lilac bows in response to Gong's introduction.
It's an honor, General.
The Royal Magister has a proposal. We'd like you to help us get the stone. It's in the greedy little hands of Mayor Zao, in our neighbor city, Shang Mu.
Why do you need our help? Don't you have soldiers and spies and stuff?
We wanna try and resolve this thing peacefully if we can, so we're sending a neutral party to negotiate. given the, uh, current state of affairs in Shuigang, they're out of the picture.
So you need us to fly to Shang Mu and convince Zao to give the stone back.

Torque walks over to one of the biplanes, looking at it with a nervous expression, recalling what happened the last time he flew a plane.

I assume we'll be taking one of these planes. . .

The Team climbs into the plane, while Gong & the Bird Guard clears the runway so they can take off.

Torque starts up the plane and takes off. As they gain altitude, they hit multiple boxes and a random robot called a Shock Puppet.
The Team arrives in Shang Mu and lands in the Commercial District. As they make their way to City Hall on foot, they find Spade waiting for them.

Suddenly, the conversation is interrupted by a huge laser from an enemy saucer is fired in front of the Team, catching them by surprise. Spade takes advantage of the chaos to slip away and escape.
Everyone split up!
The enemy saucer flies towards a nearby shopping mall as the Team pursues.
We'll cut him off at the huge shopping mall over there!

-Mid-Boss Battle (Lilac)-
As Lilac gets closer to the shopping mall, she is stopped by a familiar voice.
Hold it right there you sparkly twit!
Lilac turns arounds and sees the source of the voice: it was Serpentine, the Robotic-Armed Snake and Torque's attacker from the Valley. He is seen pointing his pistol at her.
What did you call me?!
You think you can just walk into this conflict, don't you? Well I have news for you. . . this isn't your fight!
It was the moment you brought it to our homeworld!
So the duck man couldn't keep his mouth shut. . . Well I hope he realizes that he just cost you your life!
You'll have to take it first, snake man!
They battle, and Lilac manages to beat back Serpentine, who retreats and hops into his saucer.
I've had enough of your kung-fu tricks! Prepare for annihilation!
Serpentine's saucer flies after Lilac, breaking through several pillars in the process. Unfortunately for him, Lilac was too fast and she safely runs through a hole in the wall, and the saucer crashes into the wall, breaking apart as Serpentine falls to the ground. Half of the saucer falls on top of him as Lilac runs back to the broken saucer.
You had it coming, snake man!
As Lilac heads into Zao's Shopping Paradise, Serpentine breaks out of the broken saucer and chases her into the mall.
-Boss Battle-
As Lilac exits the shopping mall, Serpentine reappears behind her, piloting the Robopanther, a panther-like mech. Around the same time, Milla exits the mall and notices Lilac being threaten by the Robopanther.
*Laughing*
Serpentine begins chasing after Lilac once she Dragon Boosts away, determined to kill her.
Say goodbye, Squidhead!
Help soon comes for Lilac, as Carol rides in on her Motorcycle, while Milla & Torque flies in on a biplane and drops Life Flowers. Serpentine turns his attention to Lilac's backup.
Say goodbye, Furball!
At the climax of the fight, Serpentine unleashes the Robopanther's full arsenal upon the Team.
Those who cross Brevon will DIE!
Eventually, after enough damage is done to the Robopanther, the hull breaks, exposing it's weak point.
WHAT THE. . . ?!
After a fierce battle, the Robopanther explodes, with Serpentine screaming in defeat.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Among the wreckage of the Robopanther, Lilac & Carol manages to pick themselves up as Milla & Torque runs up to them. Realizing they won the battle, Team Lilac celebrates their victory.
