Milla's Laboratory is a location featured in Freedom Planet 2. As the name implies, it is a chemistry lab owned by Milla Basset, and is located near the Singing Water Temple in the Valley Region.
Appearance[]
Milla's Laboratory is a white-walled, 2-story building with a green-tile roof built under an aging tree and is covered with red and yellow rose bushes. It has a sign with Chinese characters on it, meaning "Alchemy" or "Chemistry" ; and also has a beaker and the English word, "Lab". Milla's imaginary playmate, Mr. Stumpy, can be seen outside next to the door. There is also a red umbrella sticking out of a hole in the roof, possibly the result of a chemistry experiment gone wrong.

History[]
Pre-Freedom Planet 2[]
Sometime after Team Lilac defeated Lord Brevon and saved Avalice, Milla decided to live more independently from her friends and moved out of Lilac's Treehouse. Eventually, she found an abandoned house near the Singing Water Temple and converted it into a chemistry lab. Since then, Milla has been living in the lab, training to improve her alchemy powers and making potions for her friends during their adventures. However, Milla's work in chemistry has also made her extremely cautious, as she make sure no one get hurt if something goes wrong with her chemical formulas.
Freedom Planet 2[]
After the treehouse is destroyed by Kakugan, Carol suggested that she and Lilac stay with Milla until they could get it rebuilt, even though Lilac stated that Milla runs a lab, not a "Bed n' Breakfast". Upon arriving the lab, Lilac knocks on the door, and they hear a crashing sound coming from inside. Milla was likely undergoing alchemy training, but the knock on the door caused her to lose focus, resulting in a Super Shield Burst breaking something, followed by an "Oopsie". Opening the door, Milla happily greets Lilac & Carol, but is surprised to see them in rough shape. As Carol greets Milla with less enthusiasm, Lilac asks on short notice if they could "crash at her place" for the night, as well as explaining what happened to the treehouse. After Carol stated that she brought snacks, Milla immediately offers to make "her laboratorio their laboratorio", telling them not to touch anything that's glowing or moving or growling.
Shortly after, Lady Neera Li enters the lab, much to Milla's surprise. Believing that she's in trouble, she immediately confesses to accidentally causing an explosion a week earlier, stating that she was testing a chemical compound that could change the color of her clothes. Neera didn't come for that, but tells Milla that she'll have her file a report once they return to Shang Tu. She then tells the girls that the Magister has summoned them for an audience at the Royal Palace, much to Carol's dismay. Lilac asks why the Magister wants to see them, but Neera told them that they're safer talking at the palace. Carol was reluctant to go, and Neera threatens the wildcat with her Cryo Staff, stating that it would be unwise to refuse. Not wanting to get in anymore trouble, Milla quickly accepts the invitation to the palace and pushes Lilac & Carol out of the lab. After the girls leave, a deactivated robot falls out of the ceiling, with Neera stating that Milla now has 2 reports to file at the Royal Palace.
Lab Interior[]
Milla's Laboratory has all of the equipment the young hound needs to practice her alchemy and make useful potions for her friends to use on their adventures. The lab also doubles as a house for Milla to live in, due to her growing independence.

Milla's Potion Shop[]
After Team Lilac meets with the Magister and accepts the mission of protecting Shang Tu from the increasing robot attacks, Milla sets up a Potion Shop, so she can make and sell potions to her friends during their missions. Over the course of the story, Milla moves her shop to different locations.
