King Dail of Shuigang is askin' for our help. Apparently they need to track down a thief that's been stealing weapons.
Shuigang has become a close ally. It would be our honor to assist them in their time of need.
Team Lilac makes their way through Tiger Falls, culminating in a battle against Rosebud, a snake-like robot, before continuing their journey to the kingdom of Shuigang.
The chosen heroine arrives in the palace's throne room, where King Dail is seen sitting on the throne awaiting their arrival. His late father's tunic and battle axe are also seen, displayed on both sides of the throne. Approaching the throne, the chosen heroine greets the young king.
Lilac's Story[]
Good evening, King Dail.
The sun hasn't even set yet. Seems like these infernal devices are useful after all.
King Dail sits up from his throne and proceeds to tell Lilac about the recent theft in Shuigang.
So, he sent you, did he? Very well. We need you to track down a thief. A large portion of our weapons and steel reserves have mysteriously vanished. And no, I am NOT imagining things.
Steel, huh? Not profitable enough for the Red Scarves...
My brother wouldn't steal from me. I'd bust him up good.
Anyway, we believe the supplies were taken north, but I don't want to send my soldiers out there until we know who, or what, we're dealing with.
You can count on me, your majesty! I'll get to the bottom of this.
Before leaving the palace, Lilac stumbles upon Sergeant Askal on her way out.
Askal? I didn't know you were tagging along.
Magister sent me. Well, my nose, anyway. Thought you could use a bloodhound on your team.
The first rule of detective-ing is to never let your mark know you're there!
Ain't that right, partner?
I'm not your "partner", pup.
Milla? Are you sure you want to come along? If you want to sit this one out...
It's fine. We can split up to cover more ground. So, what's the sitrep?
We're heading north. We'll probably find what we're looking for there.
Fine. Let's get this over with.
Askal and Milla leave towards the north of Shuigang, prompting Lilac to tag along with them.
Carol's Story[]
Carol the Wildcat, at your service.
The sun hasn't even set yet. Seems like these infernal devices are useful after all.
King Dail sits up from his throne and proceeds to tell Carol about the recent theft in Shuigang.
So, he sent you, did he? Very well. We need you to track down a thief. A large portion of our weapons and steel reserves have mysteriously vanished. And no, I am NOT imagining things.
My brother wouldn't steal from me. I'd bust him up good.
Anyway, we believe the supplies were taken north, but I don't want to send my soldiers out there until we know who, or what, we're dealing with.
That all you got? Fine, all right, whatever.
Maybe the thief has a robot I can blow up.
Before leaving the palace, Carol stumbles upon Sergeant Askal on her way out.
Whoa! Big guy? What brings you all the way out here?
Magister sent me. Well, my nose, anyway. Thought you could use a bloodhound on your team.
Milla pops up from behind Askal.
Detective Milla is on the case too!
...Or two.
The first rule of detective-ing is to never let your mark know you're there!
Ain't that right, partner?
I'm not your "partner", pup.
Um, hello? Focus!
It's fine. We can split up to cover more ground. So, what's the sitrep?
Dail wants us to go north. That's... pretty much it.
Fine. Let's get this over with.
Askal and Milla leave towards the north of Shuigang, prompting Carol to tag along with them.
Milla's Story[]
Hello!
Um, your majesty.
The sun hasn't even set yet. Seems like these infernal devices are useful after all.
King Dail sits up from his throne and proceeds to tell Milla about the recent theft in Shuigang.
So, he sent you, did he? Very well. We need you to track down a thief. A large portion of our weapons and steel reserves have mysteriously vanished. And no, I am NOT imagining things.
Don't worry, your majesty! Detective Milla and her thief-detecting nose is on the case!
I... appreciate your enthusiasm!
Anyway, we believe the supplies were taken north, but I don't want to send my soldiers out there until we know who, or what, we're dealing with.
Do I get a nice hat? All detectives get nice hats.
Before leaving the palace, Milla stumbles upon Sergeant Askal on her way out.
Heh. Hardly. Magister just needs another nose on the case.
Oh, double the noses for DOUBLE the detective-ing!
Well, our first clue, is that there's a mysterious scent trail!
Heading north!
Fine. Let's get this over with.
Askal leaves towards the north of Shuigang, prompting Milla to tag along with him.
Neera's Story[]
King Dail.
The sun hasn't even set yet. Seems like these infernal devices are useful after all.
King Dail sits up from his throne and proceeds to tell Lady Neera about the recent theft in Shuigang.
So, he sent you, did he? Very well. We need you to track down a thief. A large portion of our weapons and steel reserves have mysteriously vanished. And no, I am NOT imagining things.
If what you say is true, then I must question the competency of your guards. Have they been interrogated properly?
My people swear they saw nothing! This trickery is not of our own making.
Anyway, we believe the supplies were taken north, but I don't want to send my soldiers out there until we know who, or what, we're dealing with.
Nervous as always, I see.
Very well, I suppose I can look into this matter while I'm here.
Before leaving the palace, Neera stumbles upon Sergeant Askal on her way out.
Askal. A little late for an evening stroll, don't you think?
Magister sent me. Well, my nose, anyway. Thought you could use a bloodhound on your team.
Milla pops up from behind Askal.
Detective Milla is on the case too!
...Or two.
The first rule of detective-ing is to never let your mark know you're there!
Ain't that right, partner?
I'm not your "partner", pup.
This is a mission, not a playtime soiree.
It's fine. We can split up to cover more ground. So, what's the sitrep?
Hmph.
Well "I" am heading north to track this thief.
Tag along if you must, but don't get in my way.
Fine. Let's get this over with.
Askal and Milla leave towards the north of Shuigang, prompting Neera to tag along with them.
