-Carol and Milla's Scene-
Carol and Milla infiltrate the base manage to free Torque through unknown means. The group then make their way to where Lilac is being held.
Milla: Lilac's scent is this way!
Carol and Torque follow as Milla leads the way.
The group enters the torture room and are shocked to find a severely injured Lilac.
Carol: LILAC!
Torque dashes to the terminal and releases Lilac from the machine. Carol kneels down to her best friend's side in tears.
Carol: I'm sorry I ran off without you! I'll never do it again!
Lilac: -cough- We gotta leave, now!
Brevon and a squadron of Shade Troopers enters the room, cutting off their escape.
Brevon: You know, it was so smart of your Coalition to attack my ship above an inhabited planet. What ever happened to that Prime Directive of yours, hm?
Torque: You think your some blameless force of nature, don't you?! That the rules don't apply to you?!
Brevon: It's my world on the line. You know exactly how far I'll go to ensure it's safety.
Torque: Your world is in danger because of the suffering you've caused to the other worlds!
Brevon: My actions have hurt people? I had no idea. I'm dreadfully sorry.
Milla: Really?
Carol: He's lying.
Brevon: I have a lot of work to do, so let's make this quick. Kill them.
The Shade Troopers fire on the group. Milla blocks their shots with her shield, while Torque shoots back.
Milla: I can't hold it!
The alarm suddenly goes off, giving the group a chance to escape down a hole in the floor, before Brevon could finish them off with a knife attack.
Syntax: PRESSURE OVERLOAD DETECTED. THE FACILITY WILL IMPLODE IN SIX MINUTES.
Brevon: Don't let them escape! Find out who did this!
Brevon escapes the base, knowing there was no time to stop the imminent implosion.
Back at the outskirts of Jade Creek, Thermal Base is seen imploding. While they were escaping, however, Lilac had been separated from Carol, Milla, and Torque.
Carol: Lilac!
Torque: Can you sense where she is, Milla?
Milla: Something's coming! Something very big is coming!
Torque changes into his shellduck form.
Torque: Stay behind me.
A large truck drives by with General Gong and several Shang Tu soldiers riding on it.
Gong: Halt! I SAID HALT!
Gong notices the trio.
Gong: Well look what we have here.
Milla: Have you seen Lilac?
Gong: The dragon girl? I'm afraid not.
Carol: Well, what's with the army?
Gong: Zao and his goons are about to attack Shuigang. I'm not about to let that happen.
Torque: Zao is going to war?!
Carol: Not if we reach him. All he needs is a little bit of persuasion, if you know what I'm talkin' about.
Milla: We're friends with him. Maybe we can ask him to stop!
Gong: Yeah, like that's gonna w... Hey, wait a minute... I think you might be on to something! Hop in!
Bird Officer: Weh.
Carol, Milla, and Torque hop onto the truck just before it drives away afterwards.
-Lilac's Scene-
Pangu leads Lilac deeper into the ruins in the deepest parts of Pangu Lagoon, where it projects a hologram of the Dragon Scientist.
Dragon Scientist: This is our final message... A message that we leave for the future. Although we will respect the wishes of your people and allow our influence to pass into legend, there will come a time in your history when you must learn the truth. When we were stranded here, we sought desperately to return to our world. We wasted countless years trying to find a way home, but we are no closer to an answer than when we started. We decided that helping your civilization survive and prosper was a more efficient use of our technology. We have condensed our energy reserves into a physical relic of extraordinary power. With proper care, you may one day use it to travel to the stars... to find the answers that we alone could never find. If you wish to know more, you'll have to access our internal database. I pray that it is still intact by the time you receive this message. May the winds of time carry you for eternity.
The hologram disappears.
Shang Tu Royal Palace
Magister: The implications of this are powerful...
Lilac: Do you believe it, your excellency?
Magister: It's difficult to say... But if it's true, then the Kingdom Stone is more important to our future than we realize. It must be returned to its resting place before the energy within is lost forever. Something terrible has happened in your absence. Zao has sent his army to attack Shuigang.
Lilac: What?! But they're innocent!
Magister: Not as far as Zao is concerned. I have sent soldiers of our own to hold them off, but I fear that it will not be for long.
Lilac: What are we gonna do?!
Magister: As ironic as it may seem, you are the only dragonblood worthy of our trust. You can stop this war before it begins.
Lilac: Tell me what to do.
Magister: Our ships will take you as far as they can. When you land, ride the northern winds to the snowfields. We are counting on you, dragonblood. Safe winds.
Lilac agrees to what the Magister said, and rides Pangu out of the Shang Tu Royal Palace.

As the truck from earlier in the outskirts of Jade Creek drives into the snowfields, Gong, Torque, Carol, and Milla go into hiding behind several snowbanks.
Gong: We ain't gonna stay hidden forever, spaceman. Be quick about it.
Carol: For sure! It's what we're all about.
